Health Support Professional Short-Term Training
Want to become a CNA and help others? This engaging and interactive learning environment will allow you to gain the skills to support the basic needs of your clients and to provide the care needed to maintain their health and support specific conditions.
You'll train in a safe training environment with a wide variety of lab activities that will prepare you to obtain certification as a Prepare to Care Health Support Professional and certification as a Certified Nurse Aide.
Additionally, this training will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and opportunity to continue your education in other healthcare fields such as nursing.
Training Modules

Core: Obtain basic knowledge and an introduction to the direct care profession. Core competencies include:
- Professionalism
- Person-Centered Approach
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Infection Control
- Documentation
- Mobility Assistance and Worker Safety

Personal Activities of Daily Living: Services to assist and individual in meeting their basic needs.

Health Monitoring and Maintenance: Services that support and maintain an individual's health and provide functional support for certain conditions.
